This is a stunning Zandra Rhodes rayon and silk dress from around 1976-78, and features a very 1920s inspired design. The calf length cut has a high cut neckline, offset with a very plunging V back. The sleeves are 3/4 length, and there is a petal cut overlay which becomes longer at the back to form a sheer cape-like panel. The waistband is of horizontal pleats and the hem is cut to enhance the matchstick design of circular medallions.
