Traditional onsen-style bath stool hand crafted from Hinoki cypress in Japan. Whilst it is traditionally called a stool, it is actually a bath 'seat', used in bathrooms and onsen for seating yourself whilst washing before soaking in a clean hot water bath. In a Western context it is the perfect traditional bathroom accessory or in the bathroom for storing and presenting linens or soaps beside the bath.
