‘Fourteen’ stems from my wider and ongoing series ‘Weapon of Choice’, which revisits the trauma that I experienced at the age of fourteen. In this zine, I address unspoken topics through my personal perspective using colour, pose, memory, and mark making. Despite recent movements to change the stigma against victims of sexual assault, inadequate sex education leaves the vulnerable ill-equipped to confront abuse.
