The Drift Earrings are part of the 'Whispering Shores' collection. Whispering Shores focuses on the continued exploration of the ocean's bounty. One shell can make a thousand shapes. Metal is manipulated; twisted and layered, contorting to a single form. It ebbs and flows, creating soft peaks in contrast to its solid structure. The Drift Earrings are a dramatic shell form that create a large abstract profile. The peaks and troughs of the Turritella shell have been replicated to create a contrast of matte and polished textural stripes folded in amongst the distorted metal.
