Ornate gold border with applied ivy leaf and vines, set around a handpainted miniature portrait of a gentleman. There is a locket at the back. Approx painted enamel portrait size 24mm x 29mm, brooch size 46mm x50mm, weight 26 grams. Tests as 9ct. Note that there is a crack across enamel.
