Crafted from donated saris, gifted with generosity by the women of Kahini. This style is very limited with only 17 total hand cut and made in our Collingwood studio. Each limited edition piece celebrates traditional motifs and materiality, inspired by the realities of migration and changing contexts of dress through community-led design. These garments carry memories of traditional sari starching - a practice that gives saris their distinctive crispness.
