Punctuations combines a series of paintings synthesising big wave surfing, turning the human element into a visual punctuation on the immense aquatic backdrop. Created for Studiolo , the artist’s first European institutional solo show, at the Millennium Iconoclast Museum of Art (MIMA) Brussels in 2023. Jean Jullien (1983) is a French artist living and working in Paris. Originally from Nantes, he graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2008 and the Royal College of Art in 2010.
