Makenge Baskets are handwoven from the root of the African Makenge bush in a remote village in the western province of Zambia. Traditionally used for storing and winnowing grain, these particular baskets are newer in comparison to the vintage Makenge baskets available, with little sign of age. Each basket is always unique in pattern, you will receive these at random. Measures approx 42-45cm diameter.
