Some Logic (2014) is the sequel to Rop van Mierlo's debut Wild Animals (2010). Whereas Wild Animals focused on the concept of painting animals in an uncontrolled manner, Some Logic attempted to create a book that doesn’t really make sense rationally, yet somehow feels logical. An underlying story behind the creation of Some Logic is that the success of the first book placed a high pressure on the second. As a result, Rop van Mierlo kept on painting endlessly.
